METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-ARGININE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing L-arginine in high efficiency by improving the L-arginine productivity of a microorganism such as Coryne-form bacteria and bacteria of the genus Escherichia. SOLUTION: L-Arginine is produced by using a microorganism having L- arginine productivity and modified to promote the expression of lysE gene, a microorganism further modified to inhibit the normal function of arginine repressor or a microorganism further modified to promote the activity of an L-arginine biosynthesis enzyme in a cell, culturing the microorganism in a medium and collecting the L-arginine produced and accumulated in the medium.
