PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it becomes instable at the time of sitting on a toilet seat 4 when the toilet seat 4 is made freely attachable and detachable to/from a main body case 1. SOLUTION: In a toilet seat device for which the main body case 1 freely turnably pivoting a rear end of the toilet seat 4 is attached and fixed to a rear part upper surface of a toilet in a mounted state, since a restraining means restraining the movement of the toilet seat 4 is provided near a hinge of the toilet seat 4, even when the toilet seat 4 is made freely attachable and detachable, huge loads are not generated at a toilet seat attaching part, a device main body is attached to the toilet stably at all times and the toilet seat device is used at ease. When the restraining means is constituted of a recessed part 4a provided on the toilet seat 4 and a projected part 20c provided on the main body case 1, the restraining means for the movement of the toilet seat 4 is realized by simple constitution.
