The lighting units (6) are mounted in the ceiling section of a greenhouse and the accessory starter unit is located lower down in the proximity of the plants so that they will benefit from the heat generated. Supporting steel wires (12a,12b) are mounted in the ceiling section (1) and the lighting units (6) are provided with L-shaped brackets (7) and accessory connection pieces (8) to enable them to be suspended from the steel wires.
