PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing wastewater containing fluorides which can increase the recovery ratio of water by efficiently separating treatment of wastewater containing HF, HBF4 and NH4 F without clogging the reverse osmosis membrane, and which can highly effectively process the wastewater with a small amount of chemicals. SOLUTION: In a reverse osmosis processing step, the wastewater containing fluorides of which the pH has been adjusted to 8 or more by adding an alkaline metal hydroxide is made to pass through the reverse osmosis membrane. Then in the latter of reverse osmosis membrane processing step, a denitrification step for removing an ammoniacal nitrogen remaining in permeated water is installed.
