PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the excellent rooting and growing of plant sections without using a sterile room. SOLUTION: A plant culture apparatus is constituted as follows: a plant medium is produced by mixing sterilized horticultural soil and an MS medium whose sugar concentration is adjusted at <=1 g/L; a culture container 1 is constructed of a casing body 3 in which a cell tray 2 is stored and a cover 4; and the plant medium is filled in each cell 2c of the cell tray 2.
