PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy in a measurement system for calculating correction values which are used to eliminate a mounting error of a work to a work table, an error due to thermal deformation of a machine tool, and a tool size error, by eliminating influence of fouling such as chips adhered to a tool and a contact type detector. SOLUTION: An air nozzle or an air nozzle and a coolant nozzle delivering air or coolant to the tool moving on a movement path with an appropriate elevation angle in a side face facing a main spindle is installed on a non contact type detector arranged in a reference position. An air nozzle or an air nozzle and a coolant nozzle cleaning a contact when the contact type detector is attached to the main spindle is installed on a spindle head in a direction facing the contact. By this, during moving a control shaft in a measuring operation, the air or the air and coolant are delivered from the nozzles at high pressure, and the fouling such as chips adhered to the tool and the contact type detector are removed.
