PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter having a ground working machine, wherein the ground working machine has a squirrel-cage rotor, strips of the squirrel-cage rotor easily get into rice field and get out with small revolution resistance, rotation is stable, drainage and mud-discharge are improved, moreover, the total weight of the squirrel-cage rotor is decreased, the use of steal materials is efficient and its manufacturing man-hour is decreased. SOLUTION: The rotor for a ground working machine 17 making ground work in front of a seedling implantation device has a plurality of mounting plates 23 in parallel, wherein a plurality of strips 22 are set as cross bars with an about constant interval in the circumferential direction of the mounting plate and with a sweptback angle to the rotating direction, the both of the upper edge and the lower edge of the strips are formed to have wave patterns and the wave patterns of the upper edge and the lower edge are formed to have the same phase.
