PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device in which the hard material length of an imaging unit is shortened by taking advantage of the electrical connection constitution of an external lead, an electronic part and a land part. SOLUTION: An electronic part 24 is electrically connected in a prescribed state at the prescribed position of a CCD land part 23a provided at the tip part of a circuit substrate 22, and the tip face of external leads 21a cut off in a prescribed length is nearly abutted on one end face of the electronic part 24 to be connected and fixed electrically by soldering. The small-diameter single wire 32b of a signal cable 31 is electrically connected to the external leads 21a of a short projecting size, and a large-diameter coaxial line 32a is electrically connected to the external leads 21b of a long projecting size.
