PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper strength for reduction in size and weight. SOLUTION: In the link device which has a plate piece-like insertable body 2 to be inserted engagedly into the body 1 thereof for linking one end to the other end of a cord A or the like, an convex-concave part 19 is so arranged to be protruded and recessed across the thickness of the insertable body 2. The convex-concave part 19 keeps the insertable body 2 from bending against external forces applied across the thickness thereof under the linked state of the insertable part 2 engaged with the link device body 1. Thus, sufficient strength can be obtained across the thickness of the link device despite attempts to make it thinner for reduction in the size and weight of the link device as a whole. The convex-concave part 19 may be formed longitudinally in the direction of inserting the insertable body 2 thereby further increasing the strength in the direction of bending as caused by the external forces.
