PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe cooking pot for an electromagnetic induction heater made of aluminum capable of maintaining a state of being stably mounted on a top plate even when stock or the like spills and making heating temperature adjustment by the electromagnetic induction heater effectively function. SOLUTION: The cooking pot for the electromagnetic induction heater is provided with a coating layer having a magnetic body metal sprayed layer and an aluminum sprayed layer laminated on the magnetic body metal sprayed layer on a back bottom surface of a cooking pot body made of an aluminum alloy. The cooking pot body is provided with an annular projected line part integrally molded with the pot body surrounding an outer periphery of the coating layer so as to be projected from the back bottom surface and an aluminum exposure part provided in a local area at a back bottom surface center part which is an inner side area of the annular projected line part. The aluminum exposure part constitutes a lowest surface positioned on a side closest to a heating surface of the electromagnetic induction heater inside the back bottom surface area excluding the annular projected line part and an interval between the lowest surface and a tip surface of the annular projected line part is within the range of 0.3-2.0 mm.
