PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for exchanging a die of a punch press capable of executing a die exchange in a matter of minutes. SOLUTION: When a used punch and die for a punching work is exchanged, a die changer 95 holds the used punch and die in an empty die holding portion and removes them at a rotation of 90 deg. and simultaneously, a new punch and die which are being held in the die holding portion after being taken out of the die stockroom 61 in advance are mounted on the punch press 1. In the die stockroom, a set of the punch and die to be used next is positioned in the die delivery position K2, separately acting apart from the punch press, and the punch P and die D positioned in the die delivery position in the empty die holding portion of the die changer holding the used punch and die is taken out and at the same time, the set of used punch and die is accommodated in a predetermined position.
