PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grind a superfinished surface having oil retaining parts by using a superfinishing grinding wheel to apply superfinish grinding to a finished face applied with finish grinding of a degree leaving bottoms of a profile curve showing surface roughness of the finished face applied with finish grinding by a finishing grinding wheel. SOLUTION: A workpiece is applied with finish grinding to a predetermined size by the finishing grinding wheel, and the finished face is applied with superfinish grinding by the superfinishing grinding wheel to the degree leaving the bottoms of the profile curve showing the surface roughness of the finished face applied with finish grinding as the oil retaining parts while measuring an outer diameter of the workpiece by a size measuring device.
