PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp cylinder reducing outside dimension of a rod cover, having durability to a bending moment in a fore and aft direction and accurately leveling a clamper attitude during clamping. SOLUTION: Since front and rear walls 37 and 36 of a recessed groove 23 are adhered to front and rear faces 35 and 34 of a fitting block 31 of a support member 30 and there is no backlash, when a bending moment M acts on the support member 30, the bending moment M can be positively borne. Since a lower face 33 of the support member 32 is adhered to a bottom face 22 of the recessed groove 23, there is no dispersion in a height position of a link pin hole 40 of the support member 30, a horizontal attitude of a clamper 41 is positively maintained, and disadvantages due to inclination of the clamper attitude during clamping are avoided.
