PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch a necessary article in the middle of a suction pipe line in the case of sucking it inadvertently. SOLUTION: In the middle of the suction path of a vacuum cleaner, a catching pipe 1 inside of which can be seen through, and the sucked article is received by a catching plate 18 having a plurality of vent holes. When the necessary article is caught, the pipe 1 and the take-out port 16 and 17 of an openable and closeable cover 2 are matched to take out the article inside.
