WATER STOPPER INTERPOSED IN CRACK AND JOINT OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES TO PREVENT WATER LEAKAGE AND WATER STOPPING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A water stopper interposed in a crack and a joint of concrete structures to prevent a water leakage is provided to absorb spontaneous expansion and contraction of a structure and to heighten water stopping efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The water stopper interposed in a crack and a joint of concrete structures to prevent a water leakage contains: a main body(200) containing a primary plane interposed between concrete structures(9) and corresponded to each boundary of concrete structures(9), a secondary plane provided with many retreated grooves where many reinforcing iron cores(201) are adhered, elastic members(210) provided with rugged parts(212) and formed on the center of the primary, secondary planes, and an adhesive member(220) adhered to the primary plane of the elastic member(210) and corresponded to the boundary of the concrete structure; and an expanding unit for pressurizing the main body(200) elastically between the concrete structures(9).
