PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket which is produced by using a resin containing hollow carbon fibers for the head or shaft part thereof. SOLUTION: In the racket and the production method thereof, the racket has at least either the head or shaft part made of a resin molded material containing carbon fibers. The carbon fibers should be hollow carbon fibers which are obtained by a method wherein the surface of fine particles of thermolysis-based quenched polymer is covered with a carbon precursor polymer to form covered particles, which are mixed with the thermolysis-based quenched polymer to generate a resin mass then, yarns produced by melting and spinning the resin mass are heated and baked to decompose the thermolysis-based quenched polymer while the carbon precursor polymer is carbonized. |
