PURPOSE: Provided is an aqueous composition of lysophospholipids containing lysophosphatidylethanolamine, lysophosphatidylinositol and lysophosphatidylcholine which are effective for the inhibition of cell senescence. The composition is soluble in water and is thus easily applied to a plant or an animal. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous composition of lysophospholipids contains lysophosphatidylethanolamine(LPE), lysophosphatidylcholine(LPC) and lysophosphatidylinositol(LPI). When the concentration of LPE to water is 0.1 to 5% by weight, the content of LPC is characteristically 20 to 60% by weight in the composition of lysophospholipids containing LPE and LPC. However, when the concentration of LPE to water is greater than 0.5% by weight and smaller than 2% by weight, each content of LPC, LPI and LPE is 10-50% by weight, 10-50% by weight and 40-60% by weight, respectively in the composition of lysophospholipids containing LPE, LPC and LPI.
