PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy apparatus for drilling capable of boring a hole with a desired diameter on the drain funnel in accordance with the position of a drain pipe executed and capable of beautifully finishing the fusing surface. SOLUTION: A method for drilling is characterized in that an apparatus for drilling 10 is located in the drain funnel 2 in the piping work site and the fusing operation including the fusing preliminary operation is performed after completing positioning of the apparatus for drilling 10. And, the apparatus for drilling 10 smoothly shifts the fusing operation from the fusing preliminary operation to the fusing operation at the time of fusing, and a fusing diameter adjustment function which can transform fusing diameters is provided.
