PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abrasion of a workpiece abutting face and the damage of a main vice and a feed vice by a simple diagonally vertical displacement mechanism of the guide bar guiding the back-and-forth movement of the feed vice. SOLUTION: Both the end parts of the guide bars 41 and 42 guiding the back-and-forth movement of the feed vice 6 are arranged in the diagonally vertical direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the guide bars 41 and 42, and in the direction of dividing the angle formed by the intersection of the horizontal plane 14 of the mount base 15 of the main vice 4 and the vertical plane of the fixed jaw 13. That is, a pair of inclined movement brackets fixed to the end parts of the guide bars 41 and 42 and provided with a first inclined slide surface underneath are supported by a pair of fixed brackets provided upwardly with a second inclined slide surface 51 and fixed and arranged under the inclined movement brackets in the state of putting the first and the second slide surfaces together. The pair of inclined movement brackets are displaced by a hydraulic cylinder 52 in the direction of the first and the second slide surfaces.
