PURPOSE: A base station receiver of a communication system is provided to reduce a material cost of a base station by using commonly one IF(intermediate Frequency) converter and overcome limit of a cable length between a front end of a receive end of a base station and a receive converter. CONSTITUTION: A front end unit(100) amplifies a signal of a terminal(77) received through antennas(75,76) and then converts the signal into an IF frequency band. IF distribution units(230,240) distribute a signal of the front end unit(100) and transmit the signal to baseband conversion units(200,210,220) identically. The baseband conversion units(200,210,220) convert a distributed IF signal to a base frequency band. Channel cards(60,61) convert the base frequency signal into a digital signal of a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access). A processor board(62) performs an IF local frequency setting to select only a signal allocated to the baseband conversion units(200,210,220) among various frequency components.
