PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus capable of achieving the enhancement of deodorizing capacity and capable of being reduced in size and production cost. SOLUTION: The deodorizing apparatus 1 is constituted of an almost cylindrical case body 4 having an air inlet 2 and an air outlet 3, the catalyst 5 and heater 6 attached in the case body 4, the blower 7 attached to the air inlet 2 of the case body 4 to blow air into the case body 4, and a cover body 8 for covering the outside of the case body 4. The end surface part of the air inlet 2 of the case body 4 is made almost flush with the inner wall surface of a wall part 9. The cover body 8 has an almost cylindrical shape closed at its upper and lower end parts and covers the case body 4 so that a predetermined gap is formed between it and the air outlet 3 of the case body 4 and a predetermined gap is formed between the catalyst 5 and the outer peripheral surface of the heater 6. The lower edge of the cover body 8 forms a predetermined gap with the outer wall surface of the wall part 9 of the apparatus body. |
