PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information collecting device which transmits biological data of an electrocardiograph to a doctor at a distance for receiving medical examination and to which an authentication code for security is set while the device is packed. SOLUTION: The device has a main body 1 having a signal input means 6, an individual information setting device 10 for setting individual information to the main body 1 through a signal input means 6, and an external box 2 having a small window 5 and packing the main body 1. The signal input means 6 of the main body 1 is constituted to be in the neighborhood of the small window 5 of the external box 2 in a packed state to be connected with the individual information setting device 10 in the packed state, thereby the authentication code, etc., for security can be set.
