A fuel injector, especially an injection valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, has a valve-closure member, which can be actuated by an actuator, via a valve needle, and interacts with a valve-seat surface to form a sealing seat. In this context, a valve-needle axis of the valve needle forms a preselectable tilt angle with an axis of the actuator.
