The built-in casing (1) for electrical installation has a circular base (2) and a circular-cylindrical peripheral wall (3) with an opening (4) on its upper edge, which is closable by a cover. A spout (5) is provided in the peripheral wall, to which a pipe is connectable for fitment of electrical conduits into the built-in casing. The peripheral wall is provided with break-out ports (6), for connection with adjacent built-in casings. For coupling with other casings, the built-in casing at three places at 90 degrees to each other and in relation to the spout is provided with coupling plates. These plates are identical and have a flat plate (8) as base. On the long edge, parallel to the center line of the built-in box is a semi-dovetailed rib (9). On the other long edge is a channel (11) with an entry (11a), which on the one hand is limited by long plate (13) and on the other hand by ribs (12).
