METHOD FOR SETTING OPTICAL FIBER IN TEXTILE

PURPOSE: A method for setting optical fiber in textile is capable of not separating the optical fiber from the textile. CONSTITUTION: The method setting the optical fiber is as follows: (the first adhering process) coating the bottom of the textile(1) with a rubber adhesive(4); setting a rubber plate(3), and pressing with a press to adhere; (the second adhering process) coating the bottom of the rubber plate(3) with a UV adhesive(6); setting a film(5), and radiating ultraviolet ray to adhere; (a setting process) sticking a needle into the textile(1), and setting the optical fiber(2); cutting the optical fiber(2) from the upper part of the textile to make the optical fiber(2) projected as proper length; (the third adhering process) coating the bottom of the film(5) with a UV adhesive(7), and drying with ultraviolet ray; (a cutting process) cutting the projected optical fiber(2) from the upper part of the textile(1) to make the optical fiber(2) projected as 0.2-0.5mm; and then (a melting process) heating the projected optical fiber(2) to make the end of the optical fiber(2) of a lump(8).
