PURPOSE: A duplexing method of a management port using a bus switch is provided to duplex a CPU conveniently although using an identical MAC. CONSTITUTION: A bus switch(37) is used for controlling a duplex CPU in an exterior. An active CPU(10) and a standby CPU(20) use an identical MAC. A management device(30) includes the bus switch(37) which makes only active CPU(10) communicate with an external CPU control module(50). In addition, a plurality of converters(11,21,51) are provided. The bus switch(37) processes a packet of the active CPU(10) only and informs to the external CPU control module(50) through the converter. If data communication preparation is completed, the management device(30) checks the active CPU(10). A bus switching connection is executed in the active CPU(10). The connected CPU transmits/receives a module and a packet, and executes a communication. If an error is generated in the active CPU(10), the bus switch(37) of the management device(30) executes a switching for connecting the standby CPU(20) to the module. The newly activated CPU and module transmits/receives a packet, and executes a communication.
