PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the non-uniformity of current in each element and suppress the generation of electromagnetic noise by regulating the wiring resistance of an emitter auxiliary terminal so that it may be at least a specified times as large as the contact resistance at a place where a terminal which is outside a module and wherein main current is caused to flow is connected, and may be at most a specified rate to the gate resistance installed outside the module. SOLUTION: The resistance Rs of an emitter auxiliary terminal between main circuit wirings is set to at least 10 times as large as the contact resistance Rcont at a section where main terminals C1, C2, C3, E1, E2, and E3 are tightened by bolts to wiring bus bars 108, 109 main circuits of a power converter and at most 1/100 times as small as the external gate resistance. By setting the resistance Rs within such a range, even if some of the contact resistances Rcont increase due to the loosening of the bolt tightening, for example, the main terminal E1 to the wiring bus bar 109 of the power converter, loop current can be suppressed small, thereby preventing the generation of electromagnetic noise and malfunction at the time of switching operation. |
