PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-fostering method comprising using a fruit of Sorbus commixta having excellent reducing activities and antimicrobial activities, hardly causing anxiety of allergy and rough skin, and expected to have operational effects over many fields, and applying the fruit instead of the application of a conventional hair tonic or for supplementing the hair tonic. SOLUTION: This hair-fostering method by the Sorbus commixta is effective for a person unendurable to the conventional hair tonic because of the effects for removing dirt from the pores of the skin to prevent thinning and depilation of the hair, the effects for renaturing cuticles, the effects for activating the hair, and the effects for preventing a smell from being generated. The effects are provided by the extract itself of a pericarp or a fruit of the Sorbus commixta. |
