FLANGE COUPLING STRUCTURE OF HYDRAULIC TYPE EXHAUST MANIFOLD

PURPOSE: A flange coupling structure of a hydraulic type exhaust manifold is provided to achieve improved coupling force between the inlet flange and cylinder head, while minimizing deformation of flange. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust manifold includes first to fourth runners(15 to 18) connected to each exhaust port of a cylinder head. First to fourth inlet flanges(11 to 14) which are not connected with each other are welded to the outer surfaces of first to fourth runners, respectively. A coupling portion(20) to be coupled to the contact surface of the cylinder head through a bolt(or nut), is formed at the outer surfaces of the inlet flanges, so that first to fourth inlet flanges are independently coupled to the exhaust port of the cylinder head.
