PURPOSE: A user function key implementation method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to designate function keys corresponding to key items of applications, thereby perform a corresponding function through a key selected by a user. CONSTITUTION: An application program such as a game program is selected(S1). Key items constructed to the selected application program are displayed to an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) display unit of a terminal(S2). A specific item is selected among the displayed key items and a specific key for designating is selected(S3). The function key corresponding to the selected key item is corresponded to the selected specific key and when executing the selected application, the function corresponding to the key item is executed by the specific key(S6).
