PURPOSE: A variable intake noise reduction system of a vehicle is provided to reduce noises all over the engine by varying the length of air flow channel formed between the air intake unit and air cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A variable intake noise reduction system comprises a varying unit(20) which operates by a control unit(10) for bypassing the intake vacuum pressure being introduced between an air intake unit(I) for distributing fuel-air mixture to the combustion chamber of an engine(E) and an air cleaner(A) for purifying the air introduced from an external source. The varying unit varies the length of air flow channel formed between the air intake unit and the air cleaner, to thereby cut off generation of frequency in a specific noise area caused due to the operation of the engine. The control unit includes a controller(11) for monitoring the rotational frequency of the engine; and a valve(12) for opening/shutting the path of a bypass line(13) connected to the varying unit, in accordance with the control signal output from the controller.
