DEVICE FOR PROCESSING CALL OF INTERNET PHONE USING H.323 PROTOCOL AND SIP AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A device for processing a call of an Internet phone using an H.323 protocol and an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) is provided to set the call of the Internet phone by using the SIP, and to process a call procedure by using the H.323 protocol, thereby simplifying a call processing procedure and performing a voice call by using a gateway and a gatekeeper. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone(200) performs a call setup procedure through an SIP, and performs a call procedure through an H.323 protocol. A database(115) includes subscriber information, terminal information on subscribers, and group/member information. A gateway(107) and a gatekeeper(108) supply a voice speech path to the Internet phone(200) by using the H.323 protocol. An SIP proxy server(109) performs a call setup procedure by using an SIP for the Internet phone(200). An SIP position server(111) registers information of the Internet phone(200) in the database(115) as performing the call setup procedure by interworking with the SIP proxy server(109), and supplies information on the Internet phone(200) corresponding to a receiving place to the SIP proxy server(109).
