PURPOSE: An organic waste composting system is provided to shorten fermentation time, produce good quality fertilizer, and remove bad smell by aerobic fermenting organic waste materials with fermenting materials including vermiculite. CONSTITUTION: The composting system comprises the parts of: a storing vessel (10) keeping organic wastes; a fermenting vessel(30) in which organic wastes ferment under aerobic condition; a water supplier(70), connected to the fermenting vessel, supplying water in fermenting so that the mixture of wastes and fermenting materials can contain 50% of water; a fermenting material-supplier(40) for controlling water content and C/N ratio of organic wastes, wherein the fermenting materials are saw dust, rice hull and rice straw, and vermiculite fired over 800-1100deg.C for controlling C/N ratio and water content, respectively; an O2 supplier for flowing O2 gas into the fermenting vessel; a mixer set on the upper side of the fermenting vessel. |
