COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR PROTECTING SKIN CONTAINING MANUKA HONEY SYRUP AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Manuka honey syrup as an active ingredient for protecting the skin is provided which increases skin moisturizing effect and wrinkle improving effect and greatly reduces skin irritation caused by fruit acids when compared with a conventional skin-protecting cosmetic composition. CONSTITUTION: The skin-protecting cosmetic composition contains 0.001 to 10.0% by weight of Manuka honey syrup and additionally 0.1 to 15% by weight of fruit acids. The composition has a formulation selected from the group consisting of a solution, a suspension, an emulsion, paste, a gel, cream, lotion, powder, soap, surfactant-containing cleansing, oil, powder foundation, wax foundation and spray.
