PURPOSE: A mask device for an organic EL device and a pixel patterning method utilizing the same are provided to form a particular pixel pattern by minimizing the influence of thermal expansion of a metal mask for depositing a light emitting material. CONSTITUTION: A device for depositing an organic light emitting material comprises a vacuum chamber(21), a heating container(22) formed at the inside bottom of the vacuum chamber(21) to contain red, green and blue light emitting materials(30), a glass substrate(26) having a transparent electrode(25), and a metal mask(23) divided into upper and lower grill masks(27,28). A plurality of heating containers(22) are provided to contain red, green and blue organic light-emitting materials(30), respectively. Each heating container(22) has an opening on top thereof. The red, green and blue light-emitting materials evaporate through the opening. The heating containers(22) are wound by a resistor(29) for sublimating organic light-emitting materials contained in the heating container(22).
