The piezo-electric device (9), which connects the watch glass (8) to the watch movement (3), is arranged so as to flex in response to an excitation signal applied to its electrodes. The zones (9a,9b) of the device (9), which respectively fix the device to the glass (8) and the movement (3), are distinct from each other when the watch (1) is viewed in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the principal faces of the device (9). The sound produced by the displacement of the glass (8) when the excitation signal is applied to the electrodes of the device (9) is increased when used in watches. <IMAGE>
