PURPOSE: A voltage connecting and electrode structure for a uni-bi electron gun is provided to achieve improved horizontal focusing performance by permitting the horizontal beam to have a diameter larger than the diameter of the vertical beam when electron beams are incident to the main lens. CONSTITUTION: A uni-bi electron gun comprises a cathode, a control electrode, a screen electrode, first and second quadrupole lenses, and a main lens. A voltage connecting and electrode structure for the uni-bi electron gun comprises a uni-lens interposed between the screen electrode and the first quadrupole lens, and constituted asymmetrically in such a manner that the intensity of the electrostatic lens in the vertical direction is higher than the intensity in the horizontal direction. The uni-lens includes a first electrode(G4) applied with a constant voltage, and which has a circular shape at the side emitting electron beams; and a second electrode(G5-1) applied with a dynamic voltage, and which has a longitudinally elongated shape at the side where electron beams are incident.
