<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform maintenance of a lightning arrestor by easily confirming by visual observation the occurrence of lightning strike with a detector surely functioning by lightning strike. SOLUTION: A lightning strike detector is constituted by attaching on an attachment plate 8 a C-shape electromagnet 1 surrounding a cable W wherein lightning strike current flows, an inclining plate 4 where plate type permanent magnets 2 and 3 are attached to both ends and inclinably supported by a support axis 5 and a support stage 6 near the center of gravity, and a holding metal 7 capable of being attracted by the permanent magnet so that the inclining plate 4 inclines by the repulse of the permanent magnet 2 due to the magnetic filed generated in the magnet 1 by lightning strike current and the permanent magnet 3 is attracted to the holding metal 7.</p> |
