PURPOSE: A vector error spreading method for improving color reproducibility at a plasma display panel is provided to minimize an error between a reference color and a displayed color and to improve a gray reproducibility performance at a dark region of a plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A gamma correction operation is carried out with respect to input RGB gray values of a plasma display panel(S100). A reference color vector value with respect to the gamma-corrected gray values based on a color coordinate value of a standard fluorescent substance is modeled(S200). A display gray value of an integer type making the reference color vector value is determined(S300). The display gray value of the integer type is converted into a color coordinate system used at a reference color vector value(S400). An error between the reference color vector and the display gray value(S500) is calculated. The calculated vector error is spread to a peripheral pixel(S600). |
