PURPOSE: A mask of an organic light-emitting device is provided to prevent a mask from being damaged due to the stress concentrated on the ineffective surface thereof by forming a plurality of circular dot holes on the ineffective surface which is not involved in the deposition of a luminescent organic material. CONSTITUTION: A metal mask(60) comprises a mask holder(50) for maintaining the tension applied to the metal mask(60), quadrangular slot holes(58) formed on an effective surface(54) in a predetermined pattern to pass a luminescent organic material in the predetermined pattern and circular dot holes(56) formed on an ineffective surface(52). A luminescent organic material passes through the slot holes(58) formed in a predetermined pattern on the effective surface(54) and is deposited in a predetermined pattern on a transparent electrode. The ineffective surface(52) is positioned between the mask holder(50) and the effective surface(54). A plurality of dot holes(56) formed on the ineffective surface(52) prevent damage of the mask caused by the shear stress.
