PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a street lamp equipment and a lighting system capable of making a large emission surface by using a small number of light emitting diodes. SOLUTION: This street lamp equipment is provided with an accumulating means to accumulate electric power generated by a wind power generating means or a solar power generating means and an illuminating means to emit light by using the electric power accumulated by the accumulating means. It uses a light emitting diode as the light source of the illuminating means, and holds the illuminating means at a prescribed height from the ground by a pole. Its feature is that a plane of incidence for irradiation light of the light emitting diode to enter is provided on one end side of a case of a translucent material, the light emitting diode is disposed along the plane of incidence, and a slit is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the case. |
