PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly state in the rewrite card a discount service to be received by points stored in a rewrite card. SOLUTION: An electronic cash register determines whether or not the discount service received from total points is a discount reference point or more in a ST13, when it is the discount reference point or more, the discount reference point is subtracted from the total point stored in a RAM in a ST14, and a discount limit amount corresponding to the discount reference point is added to the discount limit amount stored in the RAM. When there is the discount limit amount in a ST15, the discount limit amount is printed on a display part of the rewrite and as discount ticket information in a ST16, and when there is no discount limit amount, a commercial service is printed on the display part of the rewrite card in a ST17, and the total points and the discount limit amount stored in the RAM are stored in the storage part of the rewrite card in a ST19.
