<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly process design system capable of suggesting the direction of improvement without depending on the experience or intuition of a human being, and realizing the unitary quantitative evaluation of the design results of multiple items. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a product structure design means for inputting product information, and for outputting improved product information by making the product structure information proper, a basic process design means for inputting the improved product information, and for outputting basic process information by converting the improved product information into process information, and an assembly technique design means for inputting the basic process information, and for outputting improved process information by making the process information proper. In the product structure information, components and the connection relation are expressed with symbols and a line connecting those symbols. In the process information, the assembly process is expressed with symbols, and the order of the assembly process is expressed with a line having directional property. The product structure design means, the basic process design means, and the assembly technique design means execute quantitative evaluation by using an information entropy.</p> |
