PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a site diversity transmission/reception device in which the effect of site diversity can sufficiently be obtained even in communication between a base station and a mobile station when the state of a transmission line is not good. SOLUTION: A setting part 4 decides a modulation system, an encoding rate and reference information on a puncturing rule based on the quality signals of the respective base stations 5, which are measured by a mobile station 12. The transmission control parts 6 of the base stations 5 decide the modulation systems, the encoding rates and the puncturing rules for the respective base stations 5 based on reference information and the signal quality of the individual base stations 5. A code selecting part 7 performs puncturing based on the decision. An interleaving part 8 performs interleaving and a modulation part 9 performs modulation. The mobile station 12 performs a demodulation processing in a demodulation part 15, a de-interleaving processing in a de-interleaving part 16 and code synthesis in a code synthesis part 17 based on the modulation systems, the encoding rates and the puncturing rules for the respective base stations, which are included in the control signals from the base stations. |
