PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket inspection device capable of adjusting the fare afterwards by temporarily admitting the ticket according to conditions, even if a train ticket originally to be refused is inserted. SOLUTION: This automatic ticket inspection device is provided with reading means 108 reading train ticket information recorded in a train ticket medium, and ticket inspecting means 110 and 112 demanding a post-adjustment to the train ticket medium, recording adjustment information limiting the function as the train ticket medium till completing the adjustment, and temporarily admitting the ticket, when the train ticket medium is determined to fall under a season-ticket by reading the train ticket information and the entrance/exit by the ticket cannot be admitted based on season-ticket information included in the train ticket information.
