PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which can be found easily and with which an authorized user can identify the unauthorized user, when it is illegally used and leakage of information can be prevented. SOLUTION: A PIN (Personal Identification Number) is inputted from an operation section 4. At this time, a comparison section 12 reads a pre-registered PIN from a storage section 15, and compares this number with the inputted number. When the inputted number does not match the registered number for a prescribed consecutive number of times, it is decided that the terminal has been used, and a photographing section 6 photographs the person who has inputted the number. Then, the photographing data is transferred to the destination of a pre-registered telephone number.
