PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an overlapping degree of an afterimage part on a present image. SOLUTION: An image composition signal KMIX indicating an image composition ratio of an afterimage and the present image of an inputted moving image signal and an output image key signal KOUT which is a key signal indicating an object to which a recursive effect processing is applied are generated on the basis of equations (1) and (2) by a key generation means. By an image composition part, the afterimage and the present image of the inputted moving image signal are composited on the basis of the image composition signal KMIX and a moving image signal for which the recursive effect processing is applied to the object is generated. In this case, KLIVE is a present image key signal which is the key signal indicating the object to be a recursive effect processing object indicated by the inputted moving image signal. KAFTER is an afterimage key signal for which the output image key signal KOUT of one frame before is multiplied with a prescribed attenuation amount. GZ is a parameter having a value of 0-1.
