PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor capable of surely giving high color reproducibility to a pixel signal without remarkably increasing a circuit scale. SOLUTION: The signal processor is provided with a color conversion unit for performing color conversion processing by multiplying an inputted color pixel signal by a conversion matrix and a coefficient optimizing unit for setting up the coefficient group of a conversion matrix to an optimum coefficient group suited to the pixel signal in each input of the pixel signal. The coefficient optimizing part is provided with an identification means for identifying the color of the inputted pixel signal, a storage means for previously storing the optimum coefficient group of reference signals having mutually different colors and an interpolation means for acquiring the optimum coefficient groups of two reference signals having colors close to that of the pixel signal from the storage means and calculating the optimum coefficient group suited to the pixel signal on the basis of color relation between the pixel signal and two reference signals and the acquired two optimum coefficient groups.
