PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory unit, in which a plurality of blocks can be changed over simultaneously and a memory map with superior usage efficiency can be constituted, according to the process contents of a program. SOLUTION: A first memory 1 is split into 6 blocks to be alternated, M11 up to M16; and a second memory 2 is split into 6 alternate blocks, and M21 up to M26. A change-over control means 3 is constituted of flag registers, having change over control information corresponding to respective blocks to be alternated from M11 to M16 in a form of, for instance, binary control flags consisting of '0' and '1', and changes over between the blocks to be alternated and the alternate blocks according to the control flags.
