PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a print system to make a host select a control module that a printer is to execute according to print conditions and resource information of the printer and send it to the printer together with print data and then make the printer perform different operations by different pieces of print data. SOLUTION: In the print system which executes a control module controlling the printer and makes the printer print the print data sent from the host, the printer 1 is equipped with a means for receiving the control module and print data and a means for storing the received control module and the host 2 selects a control module corresponding to a printer out of a plurality of recorded control modules according to print conditions and resource information of the printer and sends the selected control module to the printer together with the print data. |
